About the memorial
Where history happened
The Memorial da Oktober is located right in the community of Linha Presidente Becker, 11 km from the center of Itapiranga. It is there that the memory of the first Oktoberfest in Brazil is preserved — from the decorated tractors of 1978 to the present day.
The visit is a great stop for families, schools, churches and tour groups who want to discover the roots of German culture in western Santa Catarina.
